The Importance of Being… is an exhibition on contemporary (Belgian) art taking place in several locations in Latin America throughout 2015 and early 2016 and curated by Sara Alonso Gómez. Bruno Devos is project director. Contributions by Koen Vanmechelen will be on display in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes of Havana, Cuba, from the 13th of February to the 26th of April 2015.
The exhibition will also feature the work of artists such as Marcel Broodthaers, Michaël Borremans, Wim Delvoye and Berlinde De Bruyckere.
