Cities like Otegem, Mexico City, Kiev, Carrara, and now Havana have been explored by the artist in order to develop its series of “Sculpturecommunism”. The landscape of every city is full of a new reality that the artist decided to add in and offer to us. The correlation established between the landscapes, transformable structures and involvement of volunteers create a new scenario which is manifested in counterpoint with the reality around them, either for emphasizing, questioning and even denying it. The photographic act in its contingency reveals data that allow access to a certain knowledge and usually arouses a kind of fetishism: this could be a perennial anxiety to discover what exists beyond the visible.
