Deze keer was het ‘Pompidou – Alles voor de kunst met Chantal Pattyn’ die aandacht schonk aan de tentoonstelling.
“Het begon als een plan om werk van enkele Belgische kunstenaars te tonen in Cuba. Het groeide uit tot een megalomaan project. Tot juni 2016 reist een tentoonstelling met werk van 40 Belgische kunstenaars langs 4 grote steden in Latijns-Amerika. Het eerste luik opende onlangs in het Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Cuba. Later komen Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro en Sao Paolo aan de beurt. Maar welke Belgen krijgt Latijns-Amerika voorgeschoteld?”
